Aceel Al Saqaf. I am a student in 10th grade. In this debate we have enjoyed a lot and have spent an interesting hours with my friends and my lovely teacher. I have learnt new vocabulary during the preparing and discussing the different subjects. The most important thing is that I have practiced the English language and I have known my friends’ opinions. Our teacher taught us how to discuss subjects politely

Teachers’ comments

T. Assia al Hkeem. I am English teacher for 11th and 12th grade. Actually, I prepared for this activity because I didn’t find  enough time to discuss such social problems during the period itself. This activity gives chance for the students to use the English language and also to express their own opinions about these problems. On the other hand, it gives me the chance to become nearer to my students’ minds and find out their way in thinking about these social problems and it helped me to guide them to the correct way in their life.

T. Somaia Al-Hosami .I am vice-supervisor in Ar-Rasheed school. About the debate it was a great free activity for secondary students to discuss different and new subjects out of the class and express their opinions freely. On the other hand, the students practiced the English language and learnt new information and vocabulary. They also spent an interesting time and showed their confidence.
